Confederation Park
Loop trail north of Penzance Dr.  This park has two separate Off-Leash enclosures.
Where: TRAIL - Penzance Drive and Willingdon Avenue, OFF-LEASH ENCLOSURES - 250 Willingdon Ave. (Both enclosures are south of Penzance Dr. and west of Beta Ave. N.)
Off-Leash Amenities: Off-Leash trail (shared use), pedestrian trail, parking, small dogs only area, double entry/exit gate, trash bins, drinking fountain and parking.
Hours: Open year round.

Robert Burnaby Park
Closest parking to Off-Leash area is on the very north end of Hill Avenue (Elwell Street and Hill Avenue.)  On hydro corridor and adjacent lawn area west of Ramsay Creek.
Where: 8155 Wedgewood Street
Off-Leash Amenities: Off-Leash trail (shared use), Off-Leash area, pedestrian trail, parking and trash bins.
Hours: Open year round.

David Gray Park
This Off-Leash park has an enclosure.  There is a drinking fountain designed for both dogs and people. Closest parking to Off-Leash area is at Inman Street and McKay Avenue.
Where: 7480 McKay Avenue
Off-Leash Amenities: Pedestrian trail, double entry/exit gate, trash bins and drinking fountain.
Hours: Open year round.

Taylor Park
This off-leash park has an enclosure.
Where: 7599 Mission Avenue
Off-Leash Amenities: Pedestrian trail, parking, double entry/exit gate, trash bins, drinking fountain and parking.
Hours: Open year round.

Malvern Park
This off-leash park has an open area and trail.
Where: 7410 Morley Drive
Off-Leash Amenities: Off-Leash trail (shared use), Off-Leash area, pedestrian trail, parking, double entry/exit gate, trash bins, drinking fountain and parking.
Hours: Open year round.

Warner Loat Park
This off-leash park has an enclosure.
Where: 4252 Piper Avenue
Off-Leash Amenities: Pedestrian trail, double entry/exit gate, trash bins and drinking fountain.
Hours: Open year round.

Barnet Marine Park
(Portion of Drummond’s Walk area with restrictions*)
Where: 8181 Barnet Highway
Trial off-leash hours:

  • October 1-April 30: no time restrictions, dawn to dusk
  • May 1-September 30: Weekday mornings dawn to 10:00 am
  • Weekday evenings 6:00 pm to dusk
  • Weekend mornings dawn to 10:00 am
  • Statutory holidays are equivalent to weekend schedule.

Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park
Byrne Creek Dyke trail.
Where: 4551 Byrne Road (Byrne Road and Fraser Park Drive.)
Off-Leash Amenities: Off-Leash trail (shared use), Off-Leash area (seasonal), pedestrian trail, parking, trash bins and parking.
Hours: Open year round.

Picnic Meadow (lawn north of picnic shelters with restrictions*)
Trial off-leash hours:

  • October 1-April 30: No time restrictions, dawn to dusk
  • May 1-September 30: Dawn to 9:00 am and 6:00 pm to dusk

* Please respect the time restrictions posted at these off-leash areas.
